Damascus Kuon

blade: AUS-10 steel with 66 layer linings

handle: birch burl and decorative epoxy resin inlay

hardness: 67 HRC

Damascus steel is a material that in our minds is firmly associated with the best swords and daggers from the picturesque stories of the past. However, to be convinced of the unique advantages of such metal, it is not necessary to take risks and perform feats (of course, if you do not take into account the culinary feats in your own kitchen). The unique hardness of Damascus steel, complete corrosion resistance and impeccable sharpness of the blades are the advantages that are especially appreciated in the knives of the DAMASCUS collections, which have come from the legends straight to the kitchen tables of modern housewives.

The blade of Damascus Kuon knives flows into the handle without welding, thanks to the homogeneous steel base. This increases the strength and durability of the knives. This is why they are called “Kuon”, which translates to “Eternity”. The handle consists of two parts: a decorative insert made of epoxy resin, shimmering blue color; a wooden base made of birch burl (thickened part of the knots of trees with higher strength).
